Driver Attention Monitoring in Tesla Electric Vehicles
The Evolution of Comfort in the Genesis GV90

At the heart of the new GV90 lies the "living room on wheels" philosophy, reimagining the journey from point A to point B as a holistic experience of relaxation and restoration. The vehicle's design language is a logical evolution of the Neolum concept, where minimalist aesthetics converge with functional ambition. The primary objective is the creation of an atmosphere of absolute serenity, achieved not only through premium materials but through a meticulously engineered spatial geometry.
The model's technical architecture is built upon the 800V E-GMP platform. While this foundation has already been proven in heavy-duty electric SUVs like the Hyundai Ioniq 9 and Kia EV9, the Genesis iteration introduces deep optimizations for enhanced comfort. The high-voltage system drastically reduces charging downtime: utilizing 350 kW terminals, the 123.5 kWh battery charges from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes. Despite its imposing dimensions and mass, the seven-seat configuration offers a range of approximately 500 kilometers, ensuring its viability for long-distance travel.
At launch, Genesis is prioritizing exclusivity, offering a four-seat VIP lounge configuration and the flagship GV90 Neolum. The latter embodies the concept's most daring ideas, including the Neolum Arch Gate system—pillarless coach doors that grant access to the cabin with a sense of occasion and effortless grace. The lineup will later expand to include a classic seven-seat layout, targeting a broader segment of the premium family market.
The GV90's performance metrics are formidable: the all-wheel-drive system delivers a combined output of 657 hp (490 kW) and 800 Nm of torque. However, this power is not intended for aggressive driving, but rather to ensure seamless fluidity and composure on the road. Safety has also been elevated; beyond the standard array of 12 airbags, engineers have implemented an innovative roof-mounted airbag that deploys during a rollover, creating an additional protective barrier for passengers.
The GV90 interior is a masterclass in digital minimalism. The centerpiece is a massive OLED display integrated into the dashboard. To prevent interface clutter and preserve the spatial aesthetic, the screen partially recedes into the panel while in motion. The auditory experience is powered by a 25-speaker 3D audio system developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, transforming the cabin into a full-fledged concert hall and cementing the vehicle's status as a mobile sanctuary for relaxation.
